VALLEY OF KINGS (LUXOR)
We spent a whole day in Valley
of Kings, which is situated on the West Bank of Luxor.
The first thing we met was the Memnon Colossi, the gigantic statues. The whole
area is so
huge that a car is needed to get to the sites. The Pharaonic tombs and temples
are
magnificent, and only few escaped the the vandalism of the grave robbers.
