ARRIVING TO CAPE TOWN

 Welcome to Cape Town,
banner of 'Cell C' phone company.

Road Lodge at the Airport was our hotel for the first 3 nights, as we had a lost suitcase, which arrived two days later.

This Landrover Defender hired from the company 'Just Done It' was our car and home, with a comfortable roof tent on the top.

The stunning view of the table Mountain, from the City Center.

ON THE TOP OF TABLE MOUNTAIN

Cape Town - City Bowl - Panorama from Table Mountain. We went up by Cable Way.
Cape Town is one of the most beautiful cities of the world.  The city is dominated by a towering, table-shaped mountain, set on a peninsula of soaring, rocky heights and lush valleys, where two oceans converge, the Indian and the Atlantic.

Going up to Table Mountain by the famous Cableway.

We enjoyed the panorama from the top:...

...smaller peaks, miniature houses and roads, sweeping white waves...

The city itself is far larger than we could think.

Fascinating plants of the Table Mountain area.

Little rock dassies, expecting food from tourists...

... however feeding these little animals is incorrect behavior.

Our hired car and the nice panorama of the City Bowl.

Sometimes clouds were climbing on us...
Lot of cars parking at the lower station of the Cable Way.
The modern City Center in Cape Town.
Acacias are  lovely African trees
