5 - NAMIB DESERT, KEETMANSHOPE, SESRIEM

We spent the whole day in the Namib Desert. It was a surprise to find the Balaton
Hungarian Restaurant
in the desert town, Keetmanshope. By the end of the day we arrived to Sesriem
Camp, where jackals were running around during the night.

TAFEL is one of those, ... and of course WINDHOEK and other Hansa Pils
type beers. |

but he passed away few years ago. The restaurants still has Hungarian
dishes on the menu. |

Hungarian style, and pancakes. |

| These nests are really masterpieces of the local bird-industry. | There are petrol stations even in the Namib Desert. | The sun is going down quite early (end of June - about 6 p.m. ) |
Sesriem Camp is a real experience to stay. Each site has an own tree and stone fence. Privacy is fully ensured... but .... |
