The Jurassic Coast is a World Heritage Site on the English Channel coast of southern England. The site stretches from Orcombe Point near Exmouth in East Devon to Old Harry Rocks near Swanage in East Dorset, a distance of 95 miles (153 km). The site contains a number of unique geological features and shows excellent examples of different landforms, including the natural arch at Durdle Door, the cove and limestone folding at Lulworth Cove and an island, the Isle of Portland.

A Világörökség részeként számon tartott ’ Jurassic Coast’, a devoni Exmouth-tól a dorseti Studlandig húzódik végig. Ez az ország egyik legcsodálatosabb partvidéke, ahol 153 km hosszan végigsétálva, megismerkedhetünk a természettörténet 200 millió éves múltjával, ősrégi kövületeket találhatunk, és felfedezhetjük az ősi sivatagok, a trópusi tengerek, a megkövesedett erdők és a dinoszauruszcsontokat rejtő mocsarak izgalmas történetét. Mi csak egy 5 km-es szakaszt jártunk be, és megcsodáltuk a Lulworth öblöt (Lulworth Cove), és a Teknős-kapu (Durdle Door) sziklát.
