| A Busójárás évente februárban megrendezett ünnepség Mohácson. A monda szerint a Mohács-szigeti mocsárvilágba menekült őslakos
sokácok megelégelve a rabigát, ijesztő álarcokba öltözve, maguk
készítette zajkeltő eszközökkel, az éj leple alatt csónakokkal átkelve a
Dunán, kizavarták a törököket Mohácsról. |
Busho
Festival is a folk tradition in Mohács, organized each year in
February. According to the legend the local people (shokatz folk)
frightened to death the occupating Turkish army. Several men dressed in
scary furs, wearing horrific masks, and making terrible noise, chased
away the Turks when they crossed the Danube in boats.
