PILANESBERG
NATIONAL PARK (South Africa)
The Pilanesberg National Park is situated inside an eroded crater of a long-extinct volcano. Pilanesberg is a sanctuary for various kinds of game and wild animals. This was the largest game resettlement project in the history of South Africa, in the early eighties more than 6,000 animals from other parks were settled here.
