EAST TUNISIA, MAHDIA

We spent the last three days in a cute little town, called Mahdia, on the Eastern beach of Tunisia.
Each day we went for a walk to the town or made half day trips to other sites (El-Jem, Kairouan,
Monastir)
All the following photos were taken in Mahdia.

Mahdia is a relaxed cute little town-

The town wall is very thick, an the gate gives space for street sellers.
That is Klara there... not a ghost.

Hotel Sirocco Beach was the place where we spent three nights.

We had a nice view over the sea from our room, and the pool was very pleasant.

We went for an evening walk in the town.

The little houses, the mosque... in evening light.

The shops were all open even around midnight.

The white and green light is very typically used in the minarettes.
