WEST TUNISIA, BULLA REGIA, SBETLA

Bulla Regia is a unique Roman town with underground villas.  During our way,  we met workers

searching water in the Sahara. Sbetla (Sufetula) is another Roman town with nice temples.

A wonderful underground villa built by the Romans. The villa had a cool temperature while it was H O T (!) outside.

The central courtyard is open to the sky, and the rooms were in the subterranean level.
