We had a one week vacation in North Italy.  We decided to choose a place were we

can make excursions to the mountains and enjoy nice sceneries. The village where we

stayed, was called Dimaro in Val di Sole. In fact it is the valley of river Noce. 

That part of Italy is called South Tyrol and the mountains where we had excursions

were called Dolomiti di Brenta and Ortler Group of the Alps. All those areas are highly

protected, as belong to different national parks.
